Description
ContentEach Living Soil Pot features: BPA-free, waterproof MoistureLock™ liner with incredible benefits. 4” drainage and aeration strip of USA-made tan fabric for healthy soil and roots. Bottom seam sewn on the outside with marine-bonded thread to prevent rot. A triple hem on top for added strength.Blend #4: Nectar’s most popular blend. A general potting mix designed for indoor and outdoor use. Suitable for multiple feedings per week. Mixed in small batches. Contains no bark or fillers. Coir fiber is rinsed on-site with Oregon rainwater and buffered with limestone to reduce salts. After blending and bagging, soil sits unwrapped and covered for up to 30 days to activate, compost and then go dormant to avoid HOT soil. Ingredients: sphagnum peat moss, perlite, coir fiber, pumice, mycorrhizal fungi, yucca meal, kelp meal, bone meal, diatomaceous earth, clay, basalt, oyster shell (for pH adjustment), humus and lime (for pH adjustment).Cocogro® has a very low salt content that is available in 3/4 in double-sieved long fibers to reduce dust and give ample space within the mix. It has excellent drainage properties and can be used over a longer period of time than coir fiber with shorter fibers. With longer fibers and reduced dust, growers will experience an optimal air to water ratio, which is vital for strong root development. Cocogro® is a superior coir fiber because it is aged a minimum of 18 months and has finished its decomposition stage. In addition, Cocogro® passes through at least three monsoon seasons, which naturally washes away harmful salts out of the final product. The CocoTek® line of organic growing media consists of three different types of compressed coco coir. This high-quality, low-sodium growing media is an environmentally friendly alternative to sphagnum peat moss. When hydrated with water, CocoTek® blocks rapidly expand. The natural coir block contains only coconut pith and fibers. Great for water-holding capacity, these materials also provide plenty of aeration and drainage.Grodan Stonewool (rockwool) is made from molten rock spun into cotton candy-like fibers and then compressed into cubes, blocks, or slabs. Where other rockwool brand manufacturers cut all sizes from one batch of wool, Grodan is unique by making different types of fibers. The purpose is to support the requirement of the plant in the different plant stages. Grodan has a tremendous capacity for absorbing nutrient solution while retaining plenty of oxygen for rapid plant growth. Grodan comes in graduated sizes. Seedlings started in cubes are easily transferred to blocks and then onto slabs, if desired. Seedlings or cuttings started in the Grodan cubes can also be transplanted into more traditional planters and growing mediums. Grodan Blocks - Grodan Delta blocks are the most uniform blocks available on the market. They feature improved grooves at the base to promote better drainage. They are available in a large assortment of sizes and configurations to suit all types of plants. These growing blocks are used for direct sowing or "blocking on" of Macro and Multiblock raised plants. AO 36/40 plugs fit well into the hole sizes provided by the blocks. The blocks can then be placed on top of a slab to provide for a larger growing volume. Hugo is the largest of the growing blocks. It provides enough growing volume to support a larger plant, so it does not need to be placed on top of a slab. Please Note: new case size is 64GROW!T horticultural clay pebbles are made from 100% natural clay. They are clean, pH stable, and offer great aeration and drainage in hydroponics, especially in flood and drain, deep water culture, and drip feed systems. Due to their unique structure and ability to cover a large surface area, they offer the ideal environment to foster beneficial bacterial growth around the root zone, leading to naturally healthier plants.
